PETER F. KEHLER Peter F. Kehler of Steinbach passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 1, 2001, at the age of 84 years. "Pete", as he was known to generations of Southeastern Manitoba friends, served coffee for over 30 years at the Petes Inn Restaurant, and continued to serve the community during his retirement years at the Kindale Occupational Centre and also the Mennonite Village Museum. His loving wife Helen, daughter Judy and husband Allan Siebert, and their daughter Clarisse express their gratitude for the love, prayers and support from so many, both at this time and during Petes lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Bible Church in Steinbach with interment to follow in the Heritage Cemetery. Friends may pay their last respects at the church prior to the service. Should friends so desire donations may be made in Petes memory to the Canadian Food Grains Bank or Mennonite Village Museum Windmill Fund.
